    NeuroImmune How It Works

Your immune system is the first defense against germs trying to invade your body.  When the body senses these foreign substances, known as antigens, the immune system helps to identify them and fight them off.  In order to keep infection and illnesses at bay, we need keep our immuno-response at its peak. NeuroImmune can give that extra push of vitamins, herbs and superfoods that help accomplish this goal.

Our immunity blend begins with Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, which is a major contributor to immune defense.  It supports various cell functions in the immune system, both innate and adaptive.  Additionally, ascorbic acid accumulates in phagocytic cells and supports epithelial barrier function protecting against oxidative stress and further elevating your immune response. We have also incorporated PhytoServ™ Veggie Blend, a powerful source of natural plant-based antioxidants that provide defense to the immune system.  It delivers the essential phytonutrient content of multiple vegetables and superfoods in a single serving.

Another key ingredient is Elderberry extract.  It has antiviral properties that fight infection and contains anti-inflammatory properties.  This dietary fiber is packed with antioxidants and vitamins and increases the production of some cytokines, which inform to the immune system that it needs to work harder to fight off antigens.  Next up is Red Reishi, a mushroom that grows in several locations throughout Asia. This fungus has multiple active ingredients such as polysaccharides and ganoderic acids, a class of triterpenes that lower blood pressure, assist in immune response and improve liver function.  Additionally, Red reishi has a positive response on immune function through its effects on white blood cells, which has infection fighting capabilities.  Last on the list of ingredients are Turmeric and Piperine.  These two components work hand in hand. Turmeric and its most active ingredient curcumin is a potent antioxidant.  It not only boosts the activity of the body’s enzymes, but also neutralizes free radicals.  Piperine, an alkaloid, stimulates digestive enzymes in the pancreas and lowers lipid peroxidation.  Studies show that Piperine also improves the bioavailability of Curcumin which enhances the benefits of Turmeric up to 2000 percent.  This all-inclusive blend of herbs, vitamins and nutrients will enhance your immune response and promote healthy living.
